A LeapLab client's marketing database "list" is often ideal for the direct marketing campaigns of non-competitor companies targeting the same demographic profile. Dependant on the client and their data acquisition policies, LeapLab offers the service of managing a client's list as a product and rent it to organizations interested in the market segments that it represents. Rental does not imply even temporary possession of the list by others, which is usually prohibited by privacy policies. It means that renters will pay us to send their email to the list a subset of it. Revenue will flow to our client's as the proprietor of the list. Because we are sending emails, opt-ins only will be contacted.
Other related services offered by LeapLab in bringing a client's list to market include:
- A Datacard that describes the database, including a statement of its usefulness to marketers. It provides fees charged on a Cost Per Thousand (CPM) basis and describes subsets that we will deliver on behalf of the client with incremental fees. It includes the CPM for email transmission, tracking, merge, suppression and de-duping.
- Arrangements with List Brokers who extend the ability to market the list by recommending it to their customers when appropriate.
- Data mining to satisfy the desire of renters to use only defined subsets of the list such as residents of California or women between the ages of 18 and 34.
